Working along the path behind the War Memorial of Hendre Lake, Cutting back lots of Blackthorn, bramble and some other encroaching vegetation. We continued to expand our dead hedge with all that was cut. We also removed wiring from old fences. We much prefer to see natural fencing in our green spaces, creating habitats for various insects and animals. There's still more work to do along here.

Thanks again to all who made it and worked hard to improve safe accessibility along the paths. Our next volunteer session is on Saturday 10th of January. We are aiming to post the details soon.

Thank you to the awesome staff at Lovell Homes for helping us achieve funding through the council to get our volunteers new CVST hi-vis vests. A must for safety and handy pockets for gloves, phones and pens to do all the work we do.
