Bat Walk Hendre Lake Sat 5th September 2026 7.45 pm

This is a great event for all the family to join in 🦇🦇

After last year's successful and popular bat walk, we are looking forward to this year's walk. We'll be at Hendre Lake on Saturday 5th of September with the Community Park Rangers with detectors in hand to listen out for the bats, and spot them if we can! We are meeting in the car park to start at 7.45pm and will be guided on a walk around Hendre lake to find out what types of bats are flying around and feeding on midges lakeside. Last year, we heard Common Pipistrelle, Soprano Pipistrelle, Daubenton's and Noctules. What will we hear this year?

- Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.

- Everyone is welcome to join, but children under 16 must be supervised by an adult.

- Please bring a torch if you can.
